(Italian archipelago between Corsica and Italy, although there could be others as that's just what popped up on my first google search.) Pia Fjelltun via rootsweb.com to norway 1884 � The Athena shipwrecked off the Magdalen Islands. The Athena was a ship of 1,300 tonnage, registered at Drammen, Norway. She left Liverpool England and set sail for Quebec, when a violent storm threw her on the Magdalen Islands beach, east of Pointe-aux-Loups. Nineteen people lost their lives. There was only one survivor, the second officer.
