  Hi Tommye,
 Here is some info.
My grandfather, William Lafayette Crites, is buried in the Little Cemetery in Seminole, OK. His wife is buried next to him. Her name was Laura Lee Hedrick (or Headrick). Oddly, according the story, somewhere down her line a "Hedrick" married a "Headrick", so I have always been confused as to how her maiden name was spelled.
They had three children. (Laura had four others from a previous marriage)
  1. Coy Lee Crites 1916-1998 (My father)
He is buried in the military section of the cemetery in Ardmore, OK Three kids:
Victoria Suzanne Crites Ritchey Ardmore, OK 2 daughters
Cynthia Luanne Crites McCulloh Ardmore, OK 1 daughter 2 sons
William Keith Crites ( Me) Ardmore, OK 1 daughter in NYC 1 son in the US Navy
  2. Imogene Crites Wilsey dec.
  3. Jake Crites dec.
My mother is Virginia Lee Keith (now Crites) from Flora, IL. She and my father were married in 1941 in St. Louis, MO. She is still living in Ardmore, OK.
Thanks for the information you sent. All of that squares with everything Dad told me about where he lived when he was young. Plus, there were a few things I didn't know!
One thing I really want to know is who my great-grandfather was. (William Lafayette's father) My "William Lafayette" is not the same as yours?
Anyway, any info is great. This is interesting!
  Sincerely, Keith
