He was born September 28, 1980 to Bobbie Crites. Jessie grew up and attended school in Yoncalla. He had been a member of the Boy Scouts, Future Farmers of America and the Job Corp. Jessie loved spending time on his computer talking with his internet friends. He enjoyed anything outdoor especially hunting, fishing and umpiring softball games. Above all, he was a loving son and a good friend. He is survived by his parents, Bobbie and Jim Palmer of Yoncalla; his grandparents, Jean and Bob Crites of Roseburg, Larry Palmer of Helix, Ore and Donna Wilson of Myrtle Creek; his great-grandmother, Ilah Palmer of Yoncalla and Lilly Simpson of Oklahoma City, OK; his companion, his dog, Zeus; stepsisters, Lacy and Sarah Palmer of Yoncalla; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins including his cousin, Larry Hammer. A gathering of family and friends will be held Monday, November 20, 2000 at 2:30 p.m. in the Yoncalla Community Center. Officiating will be Pastor Rod Wilgus of Elkton. Private cremation will be held under the care of WILSON'S CHAPEL OF THE ROSES CREMATORY.
