Rachel Judd: Birth: 1670. Death: 1703
Elizabeth Judd: Birth: 1678.
Note: REFERENCE NOTES: Per Sylvester Judd, 1851 "Thomas Judd and His Descendants" he states of William, "He died at Farmington, in the latter part of the year 1690. the inventory of his estate was presented to the Court, Nov. 5, 1690. He had in lands and buildings 495 (Pounds) and in personal estate 108(Pounds), making 693(Pounds). This was an ample estate for those days, and it appears by the church record, that "not many of the brethern with us have so large accommodations as himself." He was usually called Sergeant William Judd. His widow, Mary died Oct 27, 1718, aged about 80."
"William Judd was admitted freeman May, 1656..."
Compiler's Notes: It is speculated that William and his sister Elizabeth were twins as it was common in the family (you will see it occur many times throughout the generations of this family). It is also said that they may have been born either in England before the voyage or during the voyage since there is no record of their birth in the colony records.
We visited William's house which still stands on it's originial ground in Farmington, CT. The house was added to by a later owner but the original building is still apart of the add-on and it is still occupied. There is a picture in the scapbook section of this genealogy.
