Oliver Osmund Matteson: Birth: 1894 in Doland, SD. Death: 12 Dec 1932 in Arlington, WA
Note: Benton and his family homesteaded 300 acres at Quincy, WA, called Moses Lake for 10 years. Then the soil needed more water than was available, so the Government came in and laid water pipes and sprinklers which made the land too exspensive to own, so they sold out and moved to Grants Falls, WA and worked in the timber industry hauling dried trees to make shake shingles at the mills.
