Note:   , N.H., 20 May 1783, and in company with his brother Isaac and their mother, located at Littleton, the latter part of the first decade of the present century, where his first ten children were born, three of whom died in infancy without a name. In February, 1828, he moved to Newport, Vermont, where he died 1 Jan 1844. It is said of him that he was a man of good judgment, strictly honest, that he was never drawm into a law suit, either as plaintiff or defendant, and died as he had lived, a devoted Christian. He married 16 Apr 1812, at Littleton, N.H., Lydia Peck, born at Grafton, 27 Nov 1795, daughter of Mathew Peck, a Revolutionary soldier.
