a. Continued:   BIOGRAPHY: His parents and himself come from the area of the village Wersele (then: Wiersele) in northern Poland. He was still a very young boy (five years of age at most) when his parents settled in the village of Wesola. Around 1855 we learn about him as of a shepherd in the village of Nowa Wies, where he got married to his first wife. He still lived there for some time after getting married for the second time. In some later documents he is however known as a farmer in the village of Zanecin, where his mother died in 1870. As his next child - Zofia Zaborowska was born just there in 1874 and his son Jozef was still brought to the world in Nowa Wies in December 1859, it is to presume that the family moved to Zanecin between 1860 and 1870 (possibly after selling the property of his father in Wesola and buying a new one in Zanecin). Then, we learn about his last known child Helena Zaborowska being born in Miedzna in 1880. It is thus to presume that Jakub Zaborowski moved with his family to Miedzna between 1874 and 1880. There he took the position of a labourer (probably in the Count Ostrowski's farm), what is stated clearly in his daughter Marianna Zaborowska's marriage certificate from the year 1884.
  BIRTH: According to his birth record, his father's name was also Jakub but this is an obvious error.
